"I've been reading Montage"
I see Charlie is trapped in auto
parts hell. I’ve been there, done that. Talk about hot! Escaped after a year or
so by volunteering for some computer data input duties. I see Phyrne leaping and
boogying for the next RG. I see Robin enjoys driving trucks and positive
suggestions not to mention a few volunteers. I see Andrew (Szemeredy, that is)
switching to songs without words. Charlene is running out of space. Me? I know
there are a screwdriver and an extension cord around here somewhere.
Guess
it’s time to vacuum the bathtub and shovel out the stuff under the bed.
As
all the world’s successful Mensans head for Disney World this month, on the
theory that if you can’t lick ‘em, join ‘em, I suppose, with their tambourines
and castanets, in case Mickey calls a meeting of the educators’ VIP club. Mostly
though, I find myself wondering these days what we all would be doing if Canada
had an honest education system for the past hundred years and more people agreed
with me that claiming people who learn to read are born with high IQ scores is a
dumb idea.
