Ground breaking survey of Toronto's public schools reports just one-quarter of the student body has two Canadian-born parents and less than half learn English as a first language. Toronto Star FEB 28 2009
We should not need rocket science to establish that half of the population is above average and half is not.
We should not need rocket science to establish that majority opinion considers mediocrity to be superior to all other possibilities.
We should not need rocket science to establish that politicians and school board trustees represent the average citizen and their reading scores are obvious.
We should not need rocket science to establish that world class cluelessness remains the foundation of civilization as we know it on this planet.
We should not need rocket science to recognize that child-like levels of literacy and understanding pour forth from radios, televisions, motionpictures and education in all of its forms.
We should not need rocket science to undertand that a majority of the population is unaware that the more literate half of the population exists.
We can only hope that in the future a better world is to come.
In the mean time we have little choice but to emulate the clueless and the dim-witted and most of us must compromise our personal integrity in order to survive.
The lack of honest literacy standards has put the social sciences into a state of chaos. The resulting absurdity and insanity grows.
Education now prevents literacy far more effectively than it promotes it.
Is life long learning restricted to listening to somebody talk?
Should literate children be drugged for not paying attention to those who talk?
Is there a better way to prevent literacy than forcing children to listen to those who talk?
The business world hires immigrants rather that its own literate children and calls it multiculturalism.
Eyeglasses decorate the people who read, prescribed with cluelessness about literacy by the clueless.
Psychology textbooks tell us all about intelligence and mental disorders unaware that the literate exist.
Economics textbooks disregard the obvious and go on forever about the impossible.
Do you really believe that two males can have sex?
Do you really believe that spectator sports are contributing anything sensible to universities?
Do we really need rocket science to understand the insatiable demand for alcohol and drugs?
Do we really need rocket science to point out that much of Mensan activity emulates the mediority of the successful rather than the intelligence of the literate?
Democracy does not have to mean dishonest schools! My Toronto is a monument to hatred of the English language.
